The service is a disaster! It has to be waited ... wait and wait even though the shop is barely visited. 45 minutes on the bill and 4 questions ... is not clear.

We were there for breakfast due to the lack of recognizable alternatives. It was good, but easy. However, baked rolls and pretzels also taste good when they are fresh. We'd rather have coffee elsewhere. Went quickly and was ok, price too.

Fabulous cafe on Schloßplatz in Erlangen. Friendly service, delicious food. In summer you can sit outside. Always worth a visit. There is good Gutman wheat to drink. Highly recommended!

Friday 2200h. Good atmosphere. Not too crowded. Pleasant to have a cozy chat. Neat service. Very nice whiskey card. The prices are still reasonable in Erlangen.

Relatively expensive, mostly unfriendly, incredibly slow operations (not all!), Food is nothing special. Huge windows, good to look out, but also looks everyone from the outside on the plate. In the summer nice to sit outside, as relatively central.

Slow service. Ordered Sax and American breakfast. Sax was expensive but used cheese and coldcuts from local discounter! Not recommended.

Such a great place! We've had here some of the best food in Erlangen and the servers have been very helpful to us, as I don't speak any German. I'm very sad we didn't discover it earlier in our trip.

I give a 5 star for the below mentioned reasons 1) Amazing courteous staff 2) Excellent location 3) Since i am a vegetarian i found a Indian style curry and rice which makes me visit this place again and again and the taste is consistant

I have been to this place a few times. I really like the vegetarian Curry that they have (forgotten the menu name). The food is really delicious. The service time is a bit low, but not a major negative. The quality of service is great though.

Nice place to have a drink and maybe a snack

Very cozy café, in the heart of Erlangen. Here you can have a nice brunch outside on Sunday and people watch. On Sundays and public holidays, breakfast is even served until 8 p.m.;) There are at least 10 different breakfasts for every taste! The big cappuccino is actually huge, so take the "small" cup. A glass of water is also offered free of charge with the coffee.

The Sax in Erlangen is centrally located in the city center and is therefore the ideal location for a spontaneous visit. First of all, you can enjoy your drinks outside as well as inside in small niches or simply right in front of the bar. Even on cold days you can still sit outside, as cushions and blankets are always available inside. The Sax is very comfortably furnished and although it is incredibly well attended, you can usually find a place somewhere. The waiters are totally personable, open and ready to joke WITHOUT that their skills suffer. They are quick and well-rehearsed. My friends and I have always been satisfied with the drinks we have ordered so far. A visit is definitely worth it! Gladly stop by.

Service for food is a little slow but a good place to go and affordable

We just wanted a short inside stay. What we found was so comfortable that it could have been much longer. A spacious view into the precinct through the magnificent windows. Then comes the very pleasant waitress and ,in a heartbeat, the orderd food and drink comes served. It was delightfully tasty and the "Happy-Feeling" stayed for a long time. Lob an das Geschäft

I have been there today. the place is nice, well located, but the food is horrible. I've ordered a hamburger which was the "special of the day". The bread was old, reheated. The meat was tasteless. the worst burger in my life.

I go there once in a while. It's a nice bar, but the best thing is sitting outside on the Schloßplatz when the weather is nice. Only 4 stars because it almost always takes a really long time to get your drinks or the bill.
